Physics Postgraduate Symposium 2024

To all PGRs and Supervisors in the School

We are delighted to announce the return of the Physics Postgraduate Symposium, which we are holding on February 8^th 2024 to coincide with the EDI Colloquium featuring our invited speaker, Dr Pauline Gagnon from CERN.

In a change to previous years, and as we’ve already held a Poster Session at the last Stoner Colloquium, this time will be dedicated to our 3^rd year PhD students who will be giving oral presentations on their research, plus any 4^th years who wish to also take part.

All PGR students and academic staff are invited to attend this event, which in addition to being a great opportunity for our 3^rd years to practice their presentation skills ready for presenting at conferences, but will also give everyone else the chance to vote on the best talk and other categories, the prizes for which will be presented by our EDI Colloquium Speaker, Dr Gagnon.
